Blueberry Picking!

Thanks to our friends, we found a great U-Pick blueberry farm! Organic, family friendly and $1.25 per POUND of berries, yeehaw! It took us longer than we thought it would, but the weather was PERFECT and we had fun while Schmoo stuffed his mouth full of every berry he picked. Not one made it in the bucket. Thanks, kid :) We picked ~13 lbs.

Bounce U

Our friends had a great idea: Let's go play at Bounce U! Schmoo LOVED it and ran, bounced, climbed, threw and slid for 2 hours straight.

Cousins!

There's nothing better than pizza, fro yo and cousin love! (This kid LOVES cousins!)

San Antonio!

My dear husband and I have never had a "get away" since schmoo came along. So while we were in TX, we took advantage of the grandparents and cousins and left him with them! We went to San Antonio!

We stayed across the street from the Alamo at the Crockett Hotel.



I lovey love LOVED that the hotel had a Texas shaped waffle iron. It doesn't get any better than this! (ok, if they had texas shaped bacon, that would be better.)


We visited Mision Concepcion, which unlike the other 4 missions in the area (ie, the Alamo, etc) has never been renovated. It was cool and they still hold mass there. And you probably don't care. Fine. I could say whatever I want right here: toenail fungus, day old lettuce, fallopian tube, skunk spray, moist.







We went to the the Temple together, YAY! Enjoy the following series that highlights my eyebrows.






We did the riverwalk thing...boat ride, water side restaurants and all. (Can I just say FOGO DE CHAO OH MY GOODNESS!!!!)

And OF COURSE we remembered the Alamo!

First tooth gone!

From the sequence of pics below, it probably looks like we forced that bad boy out with floss. Schmoo wanted to do it that way but the end Honey just grabbed it with a tissue. He lost it in TX and the tooth fairy left $3 :)

Well, yes, those WERE my underthings traveling around Baggage Carousel 8 at Philadelphia International Airport Saturday night. I was tempted to walk away and just forget about the whole suitcase and its spilled contents on the belt, but alas, Schmoo was with me and kept yelling, "MOMMY WHY IS YOUR UNDERWEAR OUTSIDE THE SUITCASE?!? MOMMY! WHY IS OUR SUITCASE OPEN? MOMMY! ARE YOU GOING TO GET OUR STUFF?!?"
